Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Cannot turn on or no sound. Car engine is not started. Start the car engine.
Cables are not connected properly. Check the connections.
Fuse is blown. Replace the fuse.
Volume is too low. Adjust the volume.
Incorrectly formatted playback file. Ensure the playback file is in a compatible format.
The unit is not powered. Press the RESET button.
Noise in radio broadcast. Signal is too weak. Select a station with a stronger signal.
Car antenna connection is faulty. Check the antenna connection.
Broadcast is in stereo. Change broadcast to mono.
Cannot play disc. Disc is not inserted correctly. Insert the disc with the printed side facing up.
Disc is dirty or scratched. Clean the disc.
Disc is defective. Try another disc.
Disc is not finalized. Ensure the CD is a finalized CD/CD-R/CD-RW.
Disc is copy-protected. Ensure the disc is not encoded with copy protection.
Disc not ejecting. Hold the unit and press the eject button. Press and hold the eject button.
Preset stations are lost. Battery cable is not connected correctly. Connect the battery cable to a permanent power terminal.
Display shows ERR-12 USB data error. Check the USB device.
Cannot pair Bluetooth device. Device not compatible. Ensure the device meets system requirements.
Bluetooth not enabled. Enable Bluetooth on the device.
Poor sound quality after connecting Bluetooth device. Microphone placement. Adjust microphone position.
Interference. Move the device closer to the car audio system or remove obstructions.
Cannot play music over Bluetooth. Device not functioning with the system. Ensure the device is compatible for audio playback.
Bluetooth connection unstable. Poor reception. Move the phone closer or remove obstructions.
Phone power saving feature. Some phones may disable Bluetooth to save power.
CD skips tracks. Ensure CD is not damaged or dirty. Clean the CD.
Random mode is enabled. Disable random mode.
