Philips guarantees that any monitor with an unacceptable number of pixel defects will be repaired or replaced under warranty.

Monitor Operation Summary

Power Control: Press the power button to turn the monitor ON and OFF. The LED indicator shows the status.

OSD Menu: Access the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu by pressing the designated button. Use the joystick-like button to navigate through options, adjust settings like brightness, contrast, input source, and SmartImage presets. Confirm selections by pressing the OK button.

SmartImage: Select from various presets (FPS, Racing, RTS, Gamer, LowBlue Mode, etc.) to optimize display performance for different content types. Access SmartImage by toggling the control key to the left.

SmartContrast: This feature dynamically optimizes contrast ratio for enhanced visual clarity, especially for dark backgrounds or bright images. It also helps reduce power consumption.

Adaptive Sync: Compatible with AMD graphics cards for smoother, tear-free gaming experiences by synchronizing GPU and monitor refresh rates.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Solution
No Picture (Power LED not lit) Ensure power cord is plugged in. Press power button to ON.
No Picture (Power LED is White) Make sure computer is turned on. Check signal cable connection. Ensure monitor cable has no bent pins. Check if Energy Saving feature is activated.
Screen says 'Check cable connection' Ensure monitor cable is properly connected. Check for bent pins.
AUTO button doesn't function Applicable only in VGA-Analog mode. Manual adjustment via OSD is possible.
Visible signs of smoke or sparks Disconnect monitor immediately. Contact Philips customer service.
Image is not centered Adjust image position using 'Auto' function or Phase/Clock in OSD Main Controls (VGA mode only).
Image vibrates on the screen Check signal cable connection to graphics board or PC.
Vertical flicker appears Adjust image using 'Auto' function or Phase/Clock in OSD Main Controls (VGA mode only).
Horizontal flicker appears Adjust image using 'Auto' function or Phase/Clock in OSD Main Controls (VGA mode only).
Image appears blurred, indistinct or too dark Adjust contrast and brightness on On-Screen Display.
'After-image', 'burn-in' or 'ghost image' Activate screen saver or periodic screen refresh. Severe symptoms are not repairable and not covered under warranty.
Image appears distorted. Text is fuzzy or blurred. Set PC's display resolution to the monitor's recommended native resolution.
Green, red, blue, dark, and white dots appear These are normal characteristics. Refer to pixel policy.
'Power on' light too strong Adjust 'power on' light using Power LED Setup in OSD Main Controls.
