Troubleshooting and error codes

Symptoms What you should do
Colour patch (unevenness) Switch off the TV, wait 20 minutes, then switch on. Keep TV away from speakers/magnetic objects.
"Ghosts" or double images or Teletext garbled Use a highly directional antenna; obstruction by buildings or hills may cause this.
No picture Check antenna connection. Possible TV station problem; try another channel.
Good picture but no sound Increase volume. Check if TV is muted and cancel mute.
Good sound but poor colour or no picture Adjust contrast and brightness settings.
Snowish picture and noise Check antenna connection.
Horizontal dotted lines Switch off nearby electrical appliances causing interference (e.g., hairdryer, vacuum cleaner).
One white line across Switch off the TV immediately and call for after-sales service.
TV not responding to remote control Check and replace batteries. Ensure remote is within recommended range.
