Getting Started:

Troubleshooting and error codes

Symptom Possible solutions
No display on screen • Check power cord connection.
• Disconnect and reconnect power plug after 60 seconds.
• Press ⏏ key on remote.
Poor reception (snowy noise) • Check aerial connection to TV and wall socket.
• Adjust picture settings (see page 24).

No picture • Verify cable connections (aerial, power, etc.).

TV not responding to remote control • Move closer to TV sensor.

One or a few tiny spots on the screen that do not change colour along with the video picture • This is not a problem; it's due to panel technology.
Intermittent or flickering picture in HD mode • Check connected equipment (DVD, set-top box) manual.
• Use standard-compliant HDMI-DVI/HDMI-HDMI cable.
No sound or picture but front panel red light is on • Press ⏏ key on remote.
PC modes do not work • Check connections.
• Select correct source via AV key.
• Configure computer to compatible display resolution.
• Check graphic card setting.
S-Video colour becomes faint • Check SVHS cable connection.
Black bar on top and bottom of screen in PC mode • Change PC refresh rate to 60 Hz.
AC3 not available • Press 🔊 key to select alternative audio.
TV aerial cannot be powered by set • This set does not support powering TV aerials.
Changing from one channel to another channel takes a long time • Pay TV channels take longer to decode; this is normal.
