Get Started

1. Load the Micro SD card: Insert a Micro SD card (not supplied) into the socket, ensuring it is not write-protected and the metal contact faces down. Close the cover securely.

2. Turn on: Press the power button. For first-time users, select the OSD language. The camcorder enters viewfinder mode.

3. Charge the battery: Press the button at the bottom of the camcorder to eject the USB connector. Connect to a PC's USB socket. The status indicator flashes orange while charging and turns green when fully charged. Charging takes about 3 hours.

Use your camcorder

Record video: Switch to video mode, aim the lens, press the shutter button to start recording (red indicator and flashing red status light). Press again to stop recording.

Take pictures: Switch to picture mode, aim the lens, press the shutter button halfway to focus, then press completely to take a picture.

Play: In viewfinder mode, press to enter play mode. Select a picture or video clip to play. Press to start video playback.

Use more of your camcorder

View on TV: Connect via HDMI cable to your TV. Select [TV] for camcorder display with menus, or [Live CAM] for display without menus. Select a file on the camcorder to play.

Install software: Connect the camcorder to a PC. The software (ArcSoft Medialmpression HD Edition) may install automatically. Follow on-screen instructions. You can import, edit, and upload media.

Why is there no response when I use the camcorder? The camcorder is in power-off mode. Turn on the camcorder. The built-in battery may be drained. Charge the battery.
Why is [Memory full!] displayed when I try to record? Ensure that the Micro SD card has been inserted correctly. The memory is used up. Save your video/pictures to a computer, then delete files or clear the memory.
Why do I have no access to folders on the camcorder from my computer? Ensure that the USB connection is correct. The camcorder turns off automatically after 15 minutes connected to a computer; press to turn it on again.
Why do my video/pictures look blurry? Hold the camcorder steady, do not move too fast when panning, and use a tripod if necessary.
