Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Solution
No power Car engine has not been started. Connections are incorrect. Fuse has been damaged. Replace fuse.
No sound Volume is too low. Adjust volume. Speaker connections are incorrect.
No response to the remote control Ensure clear path between remote and unit. Point remote directly at unit. Replace remote control battery.
Disc does not play Disc is upside down. Disc is dirty. Disc is defective. Incompatible disc is used.
Disc rating exceeds restrict setting Change rating settings. Region code may not be compatible.
Disc is blocked in the disc compartment Press and hold ▲ until the disc comes out.
No image Parking brake wire connection is incorrect. Check wiring.
Image flashes or distorted DVD settings do not match. Adjust video DVD settings. Video connection is improper.
Noise in broadcasts Signals are too weak. Check antenna connection. Change broadcast from stereo to mono.
Preset stations lost Battery cable not correctly connected. Connect to terminal that is always live.
Fuse is broken Fuse type incorrect. Replace with 15A fuse. Speaker wire or power wire is grounded.
Display shows ERR-12 USB/SD/MMC data error. Check USB device or SD/MMC card.
