- Powering On/Off: Slide the POWER switch.
- Recording: Set mode to AUTO, insert cassette, set selector to CAMERA, then press the record start/stop button.
- Playback: Set selector to VCR, insert cassette, then press the PLAY button.
- Date/Time Setting: Use the DATE/TIME selector, SHIFT, and SET buttons to adjust and confirm.
- Focus: Use AUTO for continuous adjustment or MANUAL mode with the FOCUS button and focus ring.
- White Balance: AUTO mode is default; MANUAL requires attaching a white cap or object and using the W. BALANCE button.
- Shutter Speed: In MANUAL mode, repeatedly press the SHUTTER button to select speeds from 1/50 to 1/4000 sec.
- Zooming: Press 'T' to zoom in, 'W' to zoom out.
- Fade-in/Fade-out: Use the FADE button during recording.
- Memory Search: Use RESET, MEMORY/DISPLAY, and REW buttons to mark and recall points.
Troubleshooting and error codes
