Troubleshooting and error codes

Issue Possible Cause Solution
No signal bar displayed on the screen. Handset is out of range. Move handset closer to the base station.
Handset needs to be registered. Put the handset on the base until the signal bar appears.
Fail to pair (register) additional handsets. Base memory is full. Unregister unused handsets and try again.
Handset is in searching status. No power supply to base station. Make sure the base station has power supply.
Handset not registered. Register the handset to the base station.
Handset too far from base station. Move the handset closer to the base station.
Chosen wrong language. Incorrect language selected. Press to return to standby, then Menu to access main menu. Select "Phone setup" > "Language" and choose correct language.
Handset loses connection or sound distorted during a call. ECO+ mode is activated. Turn off ECO+ mode to increase range.
No dialing tone. Phone connections issue. Check phone connections.
Handset out of range. Move handset closer to the base station.
No docking tone. Handset not placed properly. Place handset correctly on base station/charger.
Dirty charging contacts. Disconnect power, clean contacts with a damp cloth.
Handset on charger does not charge. Batteries inserted incorrectly. Make sure batteries are inserted correctly.
Handset not placed properly on charger. Make sure handset is placed properly. Battery icon animates when charging.
Docking tone setting is off. Turn on docking tone setting.
Dirty charging contacts. Disconnect power, clean contacts with a damp cloth.
Batteries are defective. Purchase new batteries with the same specifications.
No display. Batteries not charged. Make sure batteries are charged.
No power or phone not connected. Make sure there is power and the phone is connected.
Bad audio (crackles, echo, etc.). Handset out of range. Move handset closer to the base station.
Interference from electrical appliances. Move the base station away from them.
Location with thick walls. Move the base away from them.
Handset does not ring. Ringtone is turned off. Make sure the handset ringtone is turned on.
Caller ID does not display. Service not activated. Check with service provider.
Caller's information withheld or unavailable. Caller's information is withheld or unavailable.
