Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Solution
The appliance does not work. Check plug insertion, power failure, or damaged mains cord.
The appliance becomes hot during use. Normal operation; it's heated by the lamp. If it overheats and switches off, remove cause of overheating, unplug, cool, and plug back in.
The appliance does not respond when I try to set different functions. Press the Reset button or unplug/reinsert the plug.
The light does not go on when the alarm goes off. Light intensity level may be set too low. Increase it using the light intensity wheel.
The lamp does not work. Check if alarm function was switched off, lamp is defective, or not screwed in.
I cannot switch on the lamp again immediately after I switched it off. Wait 3 seconds for the lamp to dim. The C button is inactive during this time.
I do not hear a sound when the alarm goes off. Sound level may be set too low. Increase it using the volume control wheel. Alarm function may have been switched off.
The radio does not work. If radio was selected as alarm sound, it may be defective. Check by pressing the radio button after switching off the alarm. Contact Consumer Care if it still doesn't work.
The radio produces a crackling sound. External antenna may not be properly positioned, or broadcast signal may be weak. Adjust antenna or search for the correct signal.
The alarm went off yesterday, but it did not go off today. Alarm function may have been switched off. Set alarm for next day and ensure sound/light are not manually switched off. Sound/light levels might be too low. Check for power failure impacting backup system; reset clock and alarm time if needed.
The light wakes me too early/too late. Light intensity level may be inappropriate. Adjust higher or lower. If intensity 20 is not enough, move appliance closer. Appliance may be positioned too low or too far away.
The SNOOZE button does not function. Snooze function is only available within 15 minutes after the alarm starts. After that, the button only functions as SCREEN BRIGHTNESS CONTROL.
