Basic Operations
Turning the unit on
Press SOURCE to turn the unit on. When you select a source, the unit is turned on.
Selecting a source
You can select a source you want to listen to.
- With the head unit, press SOURCE to select a source. Press SOURCE repeatedly to switch between the following sources: Tuner, Television, DVD player/Multi-DVD player, Built-in CD player, Multi-CD player, External unit 1, External unit 2, AUX.
- When using the remote control, press TUNER or CD to select a source. Press each button repeatedly to switch between the following sources: TUNER: Tuner, Television, Sources off. CD: DVD player/Multi-DVD player, Built-in CD player, Multi-CD player, Sources off.
Loading a disc
- Press EJECT to open the front panel.
- Insert a CD into the CD loading slot.
Adjusting the volume
- Use Multi-Control to adjust the sound level.
- With the head unit, rotate Multi-Control to increase or decrease the volume.
- With the remote control, press VOLUME to increase or decrease the volume.
Turning the unit off
Press SOURCE and hold until the unit turns off.
