System Setup

  • Reconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  • Start the engine.
  • Press the RESET button while the detachable device is attached.
  • Set the language.
  • Drive on an unobstructed road until the GPS signal is received normally.
  • Make necessary adjustments (e.g., set the time, change other settings).

Installation Precautions

  • Do not install where it obstructs vision, impairs safety features (airbags, hazard lights), or hinders driver operation.
  • Install between seats to prevent impact during sudden braking.
  • Avoid airbag deployment zones.
  • Guard against electromagnetic interference by keeping antennas and their leads away from the navigation unit and other cables.
  • Ensure proper heat dissipation by leaving space behind the unit.
  • Do not install near heaters or in hot areas to prevent semiconductor laser damage.
  • Ensure easy removal of the detachable device or drawer.

Connection Precautions

  • Use with a 12-volt battery and negative earthing only.
  • Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable before installation.
  • Use appropriate speakers (over 50W, 4 to 8Ω).
  • Use the correct fuse rating.
  • Pull connectors, not leads, when disconnecting.
  • Ensure the vehicle has an ACC (accessory) position on the ignition switch.
  • Secure all wiring with clamps or tape; do not leave bare wires exposed.
  • Route cables away from moving parts (steering wheel, gearstick, etc.).
  • Avoid routing wires in high-temperature areas.
  • Do not cut or extend the GPS aerial cable.
  • Do not shorten any leads as it may affect protection circuits.
  • Never power other electronics by tapping into the navigation system's power supply lead.

Troubleshooting and error codes

No power Battery not connected properly. Check battery connections.
No sound Speaker connections loose or incorrect. Check speaker wiring and connections.
Navigation not acquiring signal GPS antenna obstructed or not positioned correctly. Ensure clear view of the sky, check antenna placement.
