| The system does not turn on. | • Is the power cord disconnected? (See page 31.) • Is the POWER button activated? (See page 32.) • If the system indicator lights red, press TV . |
| The system cannot be operated. | • Is the power timer set? (See page 63.) • Check the power control setting. (See page 67.) • The internal temperature of the system has risen. Remove any objects blocking ventilation or cleaning. (See page 20.) • External influences such as lightning, static electricity, etc., may cause improper operation. Connect the plasma display power first, or unplug and plug in the power cord again after 1-2 minutes. |
| The remote control does not function. | • Verify if the POWER button is deactivated. Activate the button when the POWER ON and STANDBY indicators are off. • Is the mode switch set correctly? Set it correctly to TV. (See page 19.) • Are the batteries inserted with correct polarity (+, -)? (See page 30.) • Are the batteries depleted? (Replace with new batteries.) (See page 30.) • Operate the remote control by pointing it towards the plasma display's remote control sensor. (See page 30.) • Are you using it under intense or fluorescent light? • Does a fluorescent light illuminate the remote control sensor? |

First, turn off the main power by unplugging the power cord from the outlet, then turn the power back on after about one minute. If the problem persists, contact an authorized Pioneer service center. |

| No image or audio is displayed. | • Have you accidentally selected a video or PC input source while trying to view a TV channel? (See page 33.) • Have you activated the parental control function? (See page 44.) Enter a password to temporarily cancel parental control. (See page 48.) • Check the cable connection to the antenna. (See page 29.) • Check the cable connection to other equipment. | Audio is generated, but no image is displayed. | • Have you selected "Turn off image" for power saving? With this option, the screen turns off and only audio is generated. To restore the screen display, press any button other than VOL +/- or MUTING. (See page 67.) |
