SAFETY PRECAUTIONS: - Comply with all cautions and safety related notes located on or inside the cabinet and on the chassis. - Use an isolation transformer between the power line and the set before any service is performed. - When replacing a chassis, all protective devices must be put back in place. - Observe the original lead dress, especially in high voltage circuitry areas. - Always use manufacturer's replacement components. - Thoroughly test the unit before returning to the customer to ensure safety. - Perform precautions against unwanted radiation and rise in internal temperature. - Handle the FPC connected to the panel carefully. - Pay attention to infrared ray radiation and potential disturbance to TVs and radios. Leakage Current Checks: - Cold Check: Measure resistance across exposed metal parts to chassis. - Hot Check: Measure current from exposed metal parts to earth ground.
