BASIC OPERATION

Turntable Setup and Playback

  1. Initial setup involves removing transit screws, placing the platter, belt, and rubber mat.
  2. Connect speaker systems and other components to the cassette tape deck amplifier.
  3. To play a record, push the FUNCTION switch to PHONO, place the record, set the speed, lower the tonearm, and press START/STOP (on applicable models).

Cassette Tape Operations

  1. For playback, push FUNCTION to TAPE, load cassette, select DOLBY NR, and push PLAY.
  2. For recording, set FUNCTION to CD/VIDEO, TUNER, or PHONO, load a blank tape, select DOLBY NR, and push REC.
  3. Use the GRAPHIC EQUALIZER for tone adjustments.
  4. Auto-stop mechanism stops tape automatically at the end.
  5. Erase tapes by loading and pushing REC in TAPE mode.

Tuner Operations

  1. Push FUNCTION to TUNER on the amplifier.
  2. Use appropriate function switches on the tuner and rotate the tuning knob or push TUNING switches to find stations.
