Basic Operation
- Turn on/off power: Press SRC/OFF to turn on; press and hold SRC/OFF to turn off.
- Adjust volume: Turn the M.C. dial.
- Select source: Press SRC/OFF repeatedly.
- Change display information: Press DISP/DISP OFF repeatedly.
- Return to previous display/list: Press BAND/.
Remote Control
- Volume: Press VOLUME +/-.
- Mute: Press MUTE.
- Source select: Press SRC.
- Display: Press DISP.
Troubleshooting and error codes

| AMP ERROR → Unit fails to operate or speaker connection is incorrect. Protective circuit activated. - Check speaker connection. - Turn ignition OFF and back to ON. If message remains, contact dealer. |
NO XXXX (NO TITLE, for example) → No embedded text information. - Switch display or play another track/file. |
| Display returns to normal automatically → No operations made for about 30 seconds. - Perform an operation. |
CD player ERROR-07, 11, 12, 17, 30 → Disc is dirty or scratched. - Clean or replace the disc. |
| Repeat play range changes unexpectedly → Range may change when folder/track is selected or during fast forward/reverse. - Select repeat play range again. |
ERROR-07, 10, 11, 12, 15, 17, 30, A0 → Electrical or mechanical error. - Turn ignition OFF and back to ON, or switch sources. |
| Subfolder not played back → Subfolders cannot be played when [FLD] (folder repeat) is selected. - Select another repeat play range. |
ERROR-15 → Inserted disc is blank. - Replace the disc. |
| Sound is intermittent → Device (e.g., cellular phone) causing interference. - Move electrical devices away from the unit. |
ERROR-23 → Unsupported CD format. - Replace the disc. |
| FORMAT READ → Delay between playback start and sound. - Wait until message disappears and sound is heard. |
NO AUDIO → Disc contains no playable files. - Replace the disc. |
| SKIPPED → Disc contains DRM protected files. - Protected files are skipped. |
PROTECT → All files on inserted disc are embedded with DRM. - Replace the disc. |
| USB device FORMAT READ → Delay between playback start and sound. - Wait until message disappears and sound is heard. |
NO AUDIO → No songs. - Transfer audio files to USB device and connect. → USB device has security enabled. - Follow device instructions to disable security. |
| SKIPPED → USB device contains DRM protected files. - Protected files are skipped. |
PROTECT → All files on USB device are embedded with DRM. - Replace USB device. |
| N/A USB → USB device not supported. - Disconnect and replace with a compatible device. |
HUB ERROR → USB device connected via hub not supported. - Connect USB device directly. |
| CHECK USB → USB connector or cable short-circuited. - Check for damage. |
→ USB device consumes more than maximum allowable current. - Disconnect device, turn ignition OFF and back to ACC/ON. Connect compliant devices only. |
| ERROR-19 → Communication failed. - Turn ignition OFF and back to ON, disconnect USB device, or change source. |
ERROR-23 → USB device not formatted properly. - Format with FAT12, FAT16, or FAT32. |
| STOP → No songs in current list. - Select list with songs. |
