Before You Start

Getting Started
Basic operations include turning the unit on/off using SRC/OFF, adjusting volume with the M.C. dial, and selecting sources by pressing SRC/OFF repeatedly.
Detaching the Front Panel
Detach the front panel for theft prevention by removing cables and turning off the unit before detaching.
Resetting the Microprocessor
Reset the unit using the RESET button if it fails to operate properly or displays strange messages.
Setup Menu
Access the setup menu after turning the ignition switch to ON for initial settings like ACTIVE USB, REAR-SP, AUTO TA & EQ, SYSTEM UPDATE, SXM RESET, and SYSTEM RESET.
Canceling Demonstration Display
Turn off the DEMO display by navigating through the SYSTEM menu.
HD Radio™ Technology/Radio
Tune into HD Radio or standard radio stations, store presets using BSM or manual storage, and seek stations manually.
Troubleshooting and error codes
| Problem | Possible Cause and Solution |

| The screen returns to the normal screen automatically. | No operation has been performed for approximately 30 seconds. Perform an operation. |
| Repeat playback range changes unexpectedly. | The selected repeat range may change when another folder or track is selected, or when fast-forwarding/reversing. Select the repeat playback range again. |
| A sub-folder does not play. | Sub-folders are not reproduced when [FLD] (folder repeat) is selected. Select another repeat playback range. |
| The sound is intermittent. | A device, such as a mobile phone, may be causing audible interference. Move electrical devices that may cause interference away from the unit. |
| The sound from the Bluetooth audio source does not play. | A call is in progress on a Bluetooth-connected mobile phone. Sound will resume when the call ends. A Bluetooth-connected mobile phone is being used. Stop using the Bluetooth-connected mobile phone. The Bluetooth connection was not established correctly after a call was made by a Bluetooth-connected mobile phone. Re-establish the Bluetooth connection between the unit and the mobile phone. |
| AMP ERROR | The unit is not functioning or the speaker connections are incorrect. The protection circuit is activated. Check speaker connections. Turn the ignition key to OFF, then back to ON. If the message persists, consult your dealer or an authorized Pioneer service center. |
