Starting the Device:
  1. Insert a micro SD card (not included).
  2. Connect the device to the car charger. The device will begin loop recording when the car engine starts.
Taking Photos: Press [M] to take photos. Captured photos will be saved to the micro SD card. Settings: In preview mode, press [M] to enter settings. Use [►] and [◄] to navigate the menu. Video Settings:
  • Resolution: Select video resolution (FHD1920x1080p 25fps, 1280x720p 30fps, 640x480p 30fps).
  • Loop Recording: Set video duration. The device automatically deletes the oldest unlocked video file when the micro SD card is full.
  • Motion Detect: Turn motion detection on or off. If motion is detected while the car engine is stopped, the DVR will automatically start recording.
Picture Settings:
  • Resolution: Select picture size (3M / 1920x1440, 2M / 1600x1200, 1.3M / 1280x960, VGA / 640x480).
  • Sequence: Turn burst shooting on or off.
  • Quality: Select quality (Fine / Normal / Economy).
Playback and Media Connection: In preview mode, press and hold [M] to select playback mode. Use [►] [◄] to browse files, press [OK] to start playback, and press and hold [M] again to exit playback mode.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Issue The device does not turn on. Ensure the device is properly connected to the power source and the power adapter is functioning correctly. Try using a different power outlet or car charger.
Issue Videos are blurry or unclear. Clean the lens with a soft, dry cloth. Ensure the lens is not obstructed. Check if the resolution settings are appropriate for the lighting conditions.
Issue The device is not recording. Ensure a micro SD card is inserted and has sufficient free space. Check the recording settings and ensure the device is powered on.
Issue The recorded video is jerky or frozen. Ensure you are using a high-speed micro SD card. Close other applications running on your phone or computer that might be consuming resources. Avoid extreme temperatures, as they can affect device performance.
Issue The device overheats. Avoid using the device in direct sunlight or in a hot environment. Ensure proper ventilation. If the device continues to overheat, discontinue use and contact customer support.
