Start recording

1. Insert a micro SD card (not included).

2. Connect the device to the car charger. When the car engine starts, the device will begin loop recording.

Taking photos

• Press [M] to select the picture mode, and then press [OK] to take photos.

Settings

In preview mode, press [M] to enter settings. Use [] [] to navigate the menu.

Settings menu

  • Resolution: Select the resolution of recorded video: FHD1920x1080p 24fps, 1280x720p 30fps, 848x480p 30fps.
  • Loop recording: Set the video duration for loop recording.
  • When the micro SD card is full, the device will delete the first unlocked video file automatically.
  • Motion detect: Turn on or off motion detection. If there is any motion detected while the car engine is stopped, your car DVR will start recording automatically.
  • In Parking Mode G-sensor is ON.
  • While power off, device turns on and starts video recording automatically if shaking or stroke is detected. After recording (≈30 sec) is finished, the device will turn off until the next event.

Picture settings

  • Resolution: 1.3M / 1280x960, 3M / 2048x1536, 4M / 2272x1704, 5M / 2592x1944, 8M / 3264x2448, 10M / 3648x2736, 12M / 4032x3024.
  • Sequence: Select to turn the burst on or off.
  • Quality: Select quality from Fine / Normal / Economy.

Playback and media connection

In preview mode, press [M] to select playback mode.

  1. Press [] [] to scroll through the files.
  2. Press [OK] to start playback.
  3. Press [M] again to exit playback mode.

Note:

While viewing the file list, you can press [M] to select to:

  • Delete one file or all the files.
  • Protect or unprotect the selected file.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Issue Solution
Device does not turn on Fully charge the battery. For the first use, charge the battery for at least 1.5 hours using the car adapter or at least 3 hours via USB.
Cannot take a photo or record video Check if there is enough free space on the memory card. Adjust resolution, picture quality, and frame rate. Replace the memory card if necessary. Delete some files to free up space.
"File Error" message when playing videos or photos Format the memory card.
Device automatically stops recording Use high-speed microSDHC Class 10 cards. MOV video format may not be supported on PC. Ensure audio and video are synchronized.
Unclear image Clean the camera lens. Ensure the video recording resolution is set to maximum.
Device does not respond to controls Ensure the memory card is correctly inserted.
