Quick Start Guide for RoadRunner 535W

Getting started
- Insert a micro SD card (not included).
- Connect the device to the car charger. When the car engine starts, the device will begin loop recording.
Taking photos
- Press [MODE] to select the picture mode, and then press [REC] to take photos.
Settings
- In preview mode, press [MENU] to enter settings. Use [▲]/[▼] to navigate the menu.
- Video settings: Resolution, Loop recording, Motion detection.
- Picture settings: Resolution, Burst, Quality.
- General settings: Enter by pressing [MENU] and then four times [MODE].
Playback and media connection
- In preview mode, press [MODE] to select playback mode.
- Press [▲]/[▼] to scroll through files.
- Press [OK] to start playback.
- Press [MODE] again to exit playback mode.
Troubleshooting and error codes
| Problem | Solution |
|---|---|
| Cannot take a photo or record a video | Check if there is enough free space on the memory card. Replace the memory card with one with sufficient capacity. Delete some of the files saved on the memory card. |
| "File error" message when playing video or photo | Format the memory card. |
| Device automatically stops recording video | Use high-speed microSDHC Class 10 memory cards. |
| MOV video format is not supported on PC, or audio is out of sync with video, or only audio/video is played | Install the necessary codecs or the VLC player. |
| Unclear image obtained | Clean the camera lens. Ensure that the maximum video recording resolution is set in the settings. |
| Device does not respond to controls | Ensure that the memory card is correctly inserted into the corresponding slot. |
