Quick Start Guide for RoadRunner 555

Getting started

1. Insert a micro SD card.
2. Connect the device to the car charger. The device will begin loop recording when the car engine starts.

Taking photos

• Press [MODE] to select picture mode, then press [/REC] to take photos.

Settings

• In preview mode, press [] to enter settings. Use [▲]/[▼] to navigate the menu.
• Resolution: Select video resolution (1080FHD / 1920x1080 (30 fps)).
• Loop recording: Set video duration for loop recording. When the SD card is full, the device will delete the first unlocked file.
• Motion detect: Turn motion detection on/off. If motion is detected while the car engine is stopped, the DVR will start recording automatically.
• Power on record: Set the DVR to start recording when powered on.
• Power off delay: Select a time span for the DVR to power off when the car engine stops.
• Power on delay: Select a time span for the DVR to power on when the car engine starts.
• G-sensor set: Select the G-sensor sensitivity.
• Car number set: Set car plate/registration number if necessary.
• Stamp: Add information stamp to videos/photos.

Playback and media connection

• In preview mode, press [MODE] to select playback mode.
• Press [▲]/[▼] to scroll through files, then press [/] to play. Press [MODE] again to exit.

Playback on TV/PC

• Connect the DVR to a TV with a micro-HDMI cable (not included).
• Remove memory card and insert into a computer's card reader. The USB port is for charging only.

Safety precautions

• Only PRESTIGIO certified technicians can repair the device.
• Do not expose the device to rain or moisture.
• Keep the device away from flames.
• Do not place or store the device near heat sources, in direct sunlight, or in high temperature locations.
• Keep the device away from magnets or magnetic fields.
