Shut Off Water Supply

Locate and shut off water supply valves. If replacing an existing faucet, remove it and clean the sink surface.

Tools Recommended

PTFE plumber's tape or thread sealant, plumber's putty, screwdrivers, pliers, adjustable wrench, flashlight, and cloth.

Contents of the Box

Check for Faucet (A), Lift Rod (B), Wingnuts (C), Putty Plate (D), and Pop-Up Assembly (E). Contact customer service if anything is missing.

Faucet Installation Steps

  1. Putty Plate Attachment: Apply plumber's putty to the Putty Plate and place it over the sink holes.
  2. Faucet Installation: Insert faucet shanks through the sink holes and press the deck plate onto the putty plate.
  3. Securing Faucet: From underneath, secure the faucet with wingnuts. Hand tighten.
  4. Water Supply Connections: Connect water supply lines to the faucet inlets.
  5. Pop-Up Rod Connection: Insert the lift rod into the spout and down the spout hub.
  6. Pop-Up Drain Body Installation: Follow steps to assemble the drain body, including flange, washers, and locknut.
  7. Ball Rod Adjustment: Insert the stopper and secure the ball rod with a nut.
  8. Pop-Up Rod Linkage & Adjustment: Connect the spring clip, ball rod, and lift rod, adjusting as needed for proper function.
  9. Unit Start Up: Turn on water supplies and check for leaks.

Faucet Functions

Valve Function: COLD valve: close-counterclockwise, open-clockwise; HOT valve: close-clockwise, open-counterclockwise.

Maintenance & Care

Flushing & Aerator Cleaning: After installation, run water for at least one minute. Disassemble and clean the aerator if needed.

Handle Removal

Turn off water, detach decorative button, unscrew fastener, and remove handle hub.

Valve Cartridge Maintenance

Turn off water, relieve pressure, remove handles, unscrew cartridge assembly, and inspect. Reassemble by reversing steps.
