Warranty Information

No warranty information is provided in this manual.

Loading the Mercury Battery: Unscrew the battery compartment cover, insert the mercury battery with the '+' side up, and screw the cover closed. Battery life is approx. one year.

Loading the Camera: Open the camera back, pull out the rewind knob, insert the film cartridge, and push the rewind knob back. Turn the take-up spool to position the film leader clip, insert the film leader, and turn the winding knob until the film perforations engage the sprocket teeth. Close the camera back. Wind the spring motor until fully wound and repeatedly press the shutter release button until '1' appears in the film counter.

Selecting Film Speed: Turn the Film Speed Dial so the ASA number of the film is opposite the "^" mark.

Correct Exposure: Turn the Shutter Speed Ring until the desired speed appears in the window. For subjects not in motion, "60" is recommended. For moving subjects, use faster speeds (1/125 or 1/300). Turn the Auto/Manual Ring to "AUTO" for automatic aperture setting. A white dot in the viewfinder indicates sufficient light; a red dot indicates insufficient light, requiring flash or artificial lighting.

Manual Exposures: Turn the Auto/Manual Ring to select the desired aperture.

Setting Distance: Use the distance scale ring to set the focus distance or use the zone focusing symbols. The distance can also be set and checked through the viewfinder.

Rapid Sequence Photography: Set the distance ring to "◎", the Auto/Manual ring to "AUTO", and the shutter speed to 1/125 sec. for rapid shooting.

Holding the Camera: Keep fingers and strap away from the lens and CdS cell. Hold the camera steady and gently press the shutter release button.

Unloading Film: The film counter will read "20" or "36", or the shutter release button can no longer be depressed. Set the red mark on the winding knob to "▲", push the film rewind button, lift the crank, and turn clockwise until the film is rewound.

Camera Care: Keep the camera clean, protect it from dust and moisture, use the lens cap, and store it in a dry place away from direct sunlight and magnetic fields.
