Warranty Information

The camera has a one-year limited warranty against defects, but excludes damage from misuse or unauthorized repair.

Basic Operation:

1. Prepare the camera by inserting batteries or connecting the AC adapter.

2. Insert a memory card if necessary and initialize it.

3. Slide the main switch to [REC] for recording or [PLAY(PC)] for playback.

4. For recording, select image quality and recording mode, compose the shot, and press the shutter release button.

5. For playback, connect to a TV or LCD monitor, select the desired image, and view it.

6. Data can be transferred to a computer.

Troubleshooting and error codes

No power Batteries are not positioned properly or are depleted. Reposition the batteries correctly or replace with fresh batteries. P.11
AC Adapter is not connected properly. Reconnect the AC Adapter. P.13
Sudden loss of power Auto Power-Off system shut down the camera after several minutes of inactivity. Touch the shutter release button lightly or turn on the power again.
Batteries go dead quickly. Batteries were subjected to excessively low or high temperatures. LCD Monitor was used for a long time. Built-in Flash was used too many times because of dark conditions or other reasons. Replace with fresh batteries.
Fails to record picture when shutter release button is pressed. Batteries are not inserted properly (incorrect polarity) or are dead. Reposition the batteries correctly or replace with fresh batteries. P.11
Power is off, or the main switch is set to [PLAY (PC)]. Slide the main switch to [REC]. P.23
The shutter release button is not fully pressed down. (Button was pressed only halfway down). Press the shutter release button all the way down. P.30, P.31
When the internal memory is designated as the memory drive: Internal memory is full. Delete (or copy and delete) some images to secure enough space. P.55
When the memory card is designated as the memory drive: Memory Card is not inserted properly. Insert the memory card again. P.16

Memory Card is write-protected. Write-enable the memory card.
