Preparing the Camera: Insert batteries and memory card (if applicable). Ensure batteries are correctly inserted with proper polarity. Initialize new memory cards.
Recording: Slide the main switch to [REC]. Select the destination drive (internal memory or memory card). Choose image quality (F, N, or E). Compose the shot using the viewfinder. Half-press the shutter release button to focus, then fully press to take the picture.
Playback: Slide the main switch to [PLAY (PC)]. Select the desired memory drive. Use FWD/REV buttons to select an image and press the shutter release to view.
Erasing Images: In playback mode, press the REC MODE/ERASE button to enter erase mode. Select the image and press the shutter release to erase it. Initialization erases all images.
