Adjust the angle of tines in the Upper rack to match dish size. Fold down tines in the Lower rack for large items. Adjust the height of the upper rack to accommodate larger dishes in the lower rack (up to 12 in.) and upper rack (up to 8 in.). Remove the upper rack by pulling it out, holding down the holder rails, and sliding it out. Remove the 3rd rack by pushing the holder handle. Flexible 3rd Rack™ allows for adjustment of the Flex Deck to accommodate spatulas, spoons, and larger cookware. Load the lower rack with dinner dishes, soup bowls, pots, lids, and casserole dishes, ensuring large items face downwards. Load the left side of the lower rack in Zone Booster areas for more effective cleaning. Ensure pot handles do not interfere with nozzles or water reflector.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Dishes have food particles. (Cleaning is not adequate.) | No rinse aid. | Check dispenser and add rinse aid. Use liquid rinse aid. |
| A nozzle is blocked. | Clean the nozzle. Readjust dishes so they don't interfere with nozzle rotation or detergent dispenser. Load only the appropriate amount of dishes. Load dishes according to recommendations. Load heavily soiled items in the Zone Booster area. Remove food residue before loading. Do not pre-rinse. | |
| Filters are clogged or not properly adjusted. (Food residue in filter.) | Clean the filter. Ensure filters are securely fitted. | |
| Glasses have a slight film. | Water supply is soft and too much detergent was used. | Reduce detergent load and use rinse aid to minimize this. |
| A yellow or brown film inside the dishwasher. | Load includes aluminum dishware. This is due to coffee or tea residue. | Remove marks with a mild cleaner. Remove this stain with a stain remover. Use a cycle with a higher temperature. |
| Dishes do not dry well. | No rinse aid in dispenser or not enough used. | Check dispenser and add rinse aid. Use liquid rinse aid. Check rinse aid settings. |
| When the dishwasher is operating, water temperature is low. | Connect the water supply line to the hot water tap. Use rinse aid with the Sanitize option. | |
| Too many dishes loaded. | Improper loading can affect drying. Load dishes according to recommendations. | |
| Concave glasses and cups retain water. Water may spill onto other items when removing. | After the cycle finishes, empty the lower rack first, then the upper rack. This prevents water from the upper rack dripping onto the lower rack dishes. | |
| Auto Release™ is deactivated. | Activate Auto Release™ Dry. Press Lower + Hi-Temp Wash buttons for 3 seconds to access Auto Release menu. Select "A1" to activate Auto Release™ Dry. | |
| Multiple detergent tablets were used without selecting the Sanitize option. | Select the Sanitize option or use rinse aid. | |
| The door cannot be closed. | Auto Release™ Dry mode is on. | When the door is opened in Auto Release™ Dry mode, it cannot be manually closed for 2 minutes. You can close the door after 2 minutes. |
| Smart Control does not start. | Device registration not completed. | Complete device registration. Push the door firmly shut for 3 seconds after pressing Smart Control. |
