Getting Started

  • Powering On/Off: Press and hold the Side button to turn on. To turn off or restart, press and hold the Side button and Volume down button simultaneously, then select the desired option.
  • Device Setup: Follow the on-screen Setup Wizard for initial configuration, including language, Wi-Fi, accounts, and location services.
  • Data Transfer: Use Smart Switch to transfer data from your old device via USB, Wi-Fi, or computer.
  • Locking/Unlocking: The device locks automatically when the screen times out. Press the Side button to lock, and press it again then swipe to unlock.
  • Navigation: Use touch screen gestures like tap, swipe, and drag-and-drop to navigate the device. The navigation bar provides buttons or full-screen gestures for navigation.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Solution

Cannot connect to Wi-Fi network Check if Wi-Fi is turned on. Restart your router and device. Forget the network and reconnect.
Poor mobile network signal Move to an area with better reception. Check if Airplane mode is off. Contact your service provider.
Battery drains quickly Check battery usage in Settings. Reduce screen brightness. Turn off unused features like Bluetooth and location services.
