Warranty Information

This product comes with a limited 1-year warranty for parts and labor, covering manufacturing defects under normal household use.

Using the cooktop burners

Ignition: Push in the control knob and turn to Lite. The knob LED lights up, and you'll hear a clicking sound. Once the burner lights, turn the knob to adjust the flame level. For manual ignition during a power failure, hold a long gas grill lighter to the burner, push and turn the knob to Lite, then turn on the lighter.

Flame Level: Ensure flames stay under the cookware. Adjust flame level by turning the knob. Always turn off burners when not in use or before leaving the area.

Cookware: Use flat-bottomed, straight-sided cookware with tight-fitting lids. Materials like aluminum, copper, stainless steel, cast-iron, enamelware, and glass are suitable. Be cautious with pan size on specific burners.

Grates: Install grates in their specific positions for stability. Ensure they are centered over the burners.

Wok Grate: Supports 12"-14" woks and is placed on the center or right front grate. Use with appropriate burner setting.

Griddle: Use with left rear and front burners. Preheat as recommended. Do not use the HI setting. Clean after use.

Smart Connect: Sync cooktop with SmartThings app to monitor status, power levels, and timers. Press the Smart Connect button for 3 seconds to connect.

Hood Control: Connect cooktop to Samsung hood models via Bluetooth using the SmartThings app for integrated control.

Care and cleaning of the cooktop

General: Ensure power is off and surfaces are cool before cleaning. Remove food spills immediately.

Cooktop surface: Clean with a soft cloth. Remove burner caps and heads to access spills in crevices. Reassemble when dry.

Porcelain enamel/Stainless steel: Clean with mild soap and water or approved cleansers. For stainless steel, wipe with the grain. Avoid abrasive cleaners.

Control knobs: Pull off knobs, clean with warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry. Do not use a dishwasher or spray cleaners directly on the panel.

Burner components: Remove grates, caps, and heads. Clean with warm, soapy water. Do not use steel wool. Ensure proper reassembly and alignment.

Burner bases: Wipe with a damp cloth. Do not allow water to enter. Do not scratch or deform.

Electrodes: Clean metal part with a soft cloth. Do not use water. Ensure white ceramic electrodes are dry and clear of soil.

Grates and wok grate: Hand wash in hot, soapy water. Do not use a dishwasher.

Cast-iron griddle: Rinse with hot water (no soap), dry thoroughly. Prepare surface before cooking. Clean with a stiff brush and hot water. Store in a cool, dry place.
