Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause Solution
The burners frequently turn off and on. The burner turns off and on to maintain the set power level. This is normal operation and not a system malfunction. This occurs if the cookware is too small for the burner or the bottom is not flat. Use the cooktop normally. This phenomenon is normal and does not constitute a system malfunction. Activation and deactivation at the high power setting are normal and occur if the cookware is too small for the used cooktop burner or if the bottom of the cookware is not flat. Use the cooktop normally.
Scratches or scuffs on the cooktop surface. The cooktop has not been cleaned correctly. Scratches cannot be removed. Minor scratches will fade over time with regular cleaning. Use a special ceramic cooktop cleaner. Do not use chemical or corrosive agents as they can damage the appliance surface. If rough-bottomed cookware or significant particles such as coarse salt or sand were between the cookware and the cooktop, this can cause scratches. To avoid scratches, follow the recommended cleaning procedures. Ensure that the bottom of the cookware is clean before use and choose cookware with a flat bottom. Sliding metal cookware on the cooktop can also cause scratches.
Brown streaks or stains. Food cooked has boiled over onto the cooktop. Wait for the surface to cool. Then, using a scraper held at a 45° angle, remove the residue. If residues persist, repeat the steps. For optimal protection, after removing all residue, clean the entire surface with a ceramic cooktop cleaner and paper towel.
Discoloration zones with metallic reflections. Mineral deposits from water and food have remained on the cooktop. Remove them with a special ceramic glass cleaner. Use cookware with a clean and dry bottom. Clean the cooktop with a special ceramic glass cleaner regularly every week.
Cracking or popping sounds. This noise comes from the metal as it heats and cools during cooking. This phenomenon is normal and does not constitute a system malfunction. Use the cooktop normally.
