Troubleshooting and error codes

Issue Solution
Your earbuds do not work - Charge the battery completely.
- Ensure the touch-sensitive sensor makes contact with your ear.
- Press and hold the Power button to turn off and restart the earbuds.
Another Bluetooth device cannot locate your earbuds - Check earbud insertion and charging case connection.
- Press and hold the charging case's Connect button.
- Ensure earbuds and device are within Bluetooth range (5 m).
A Bluetooth connection is not established or your earbuds and the mobile device are disconnected - Ensure no obstacles between devices.
- Update the Samsung Gear app.
- Ensure earbuds and device are within Bluetooth range (5 m).
- Restart the mobile device and relaunch the Samsung Gear app.
The battery does not charge properly (For Samsung-approved chargers) - Ensure charging contacts are clean and connected.
- Ensure the charger is connected properly.
- Wipe dirty contacts and try charging again.
The charging time and the battery life is different between the earbuds - Main earbud has less battery life and takes longer to charge due to more features.
The battery depletes faster than when first purchased - Exposure to extreme temperatures reduces charge.
- Battery is consumable and charge gets shorter over time.
You cannot hear others speaking - Adjust earbud volume.
- Adjust volume on the connected device.
Sound echoes during a call - Adjust volume by dragging on the touchpad.
Audio quality is poor - Ensure no electromagnetic interference.
- Ensure earbuds and device are within Bluetooth range (5 m).
- Adjust connected device's volume.
Your earbuds sound comes slower than the screen when playing videos and games - This is a known issue with video/game playback.
Your earbuds are hot to the touch - Normal during extended use.
- If overheating, stop use and contact service if persistent.
A small gap appears around the outside of the earbud case - Normal manufacturing feature; may expand slightly over time.
Turning off and restarting the earbuds - Remove wingtip, press and hold Power button for >10 seconds to turn off.
- Repeat for other earbud.
- Press and hold Power button again to restart.
Removing the battery - Contact an authorized service center.
- Do not attempt removal yourself due to safety risks.
