Checking for Replacement Parts

1. Visit http://samsung.com to find where to buy replacement parts.

2. Go to the part purchase site, enter your product's model code to check available parts. The model code is on the outer side of your product or on the barcode label at the bottom left.

3. Ensure the part name matches the illustration in this manual.

User-Serviceable Parts

Limited to handles (some models), gaskets, drawers, and hinges.

Important Notes

NOTE: Samsung is not liable for damage or injury resulting from unauthorized repairs. Warranty may be voided by non-certified repairs.

CAUTION: Part names on the site may differ from the manual. Ensure correct part selection. Replacing hinges requires extreme caution due to door detachment. Wear safety gloves.

Handle Replacement

CAUTION: Avoid scratching the door. Press handles firmly. Ensure no gap between supports and door. Tighten screws securely. Check attachment before use.

Gasket Replacement

CAUTION: Ensure the gasket is firmly attached to prevent cold air leaks.

Drawer Replacement

CAUTION: Ensure drawers are properly inserted into rails during assembly.

Hinge Replacement

CAUTION: Doors are heavy; handle with care. Use a soft pad for floor protection. Recommended to have two or more people or professional service. A door may fall if hinge is removed without support. Ensure hinge shaft and attachment are secure. Connect wires properly. Do not damage wires when fastening the top cover.

WARNING: Tilting/laying the refrigerator requires at least 2 people. Disconnect power cord before reversing doors.

Door Reversing

Follow step-by-step instructions using appropriate tools (flat-head screwdriver, Phillips screwdriver).
