  • Power Supply: Operate using AC power by connecting the mains lead to the unit and an AC outlet. For battery operation, install 8 x "C" size batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
  • General Operation: Control sound with the VOLUME control and BASSXPANDER. Use headphones by plugging them into the PHONES jack, which disconnects the speakers.
  • CD Play: Set the FUNCTION selector to CD, open the CD compartment, place the disc label-side up, close the door, and press PLAY. Use STOP to stop playback.
  • Radio Operation: Set the FUNCTION selector to RADIO, select the band (AM/FM), tune to a station using TUNING control, and adjust volume. Extend the rod antenna for better FM reception.
  • Cassette Tape Operation: Set FUNCTION selector to TAPE-OFF for playback. Press STOP/EJECT to open the cassette door, insert cassette, and press PLAY. Use FAST FORWARD and REWIND for tape movement.
  • Recording: Record from the built-in radio by setting FUNCTION to RADIO, selecting a band, tuning to a station, and pressing RECORD. Record from the built-in microphone by setting FUNCTION to TAPE-OFF and pressing RECORD. Sync record from CD by setting FUNCTION to CD, programming tracks if desired, and pressing RECORD.

Troubleshooting and error codes
