Warranty Information

This warranty covers defects due to faulty material or workmanship for 12 months from the date of sale.

Power Source

Outdoor Use: Attach the NP-55 battery pack by aligning the line on the pack with the unit and sliding it right until it clicks. Indoor Use: Attach the power connection cord, plug the AC adaptor into an outlet. Green power lamp will light. Disconnect plug when finished.

Charging

Plug AC adaptor into outlet. Attach battery pack by aligning line marks and pressing down. Charge lamp will light. Charge lamp changes to yellow when fully charged. Slide battery pack in opposite direction to disconnect.

Loading Cassette

Switch power on. Slide EJECT switch. Cassette holder opens. Insert cassette gently.

Camera Recording

Set FOCUS to AUTO, WHITE BALANCE to AUTO. Set REC MODE/EDIT to SP or LP. Switch power on. Slide EJECT. Insert cassette. Press REC START/STOP to start recording. Press again to pause. Repeat to continue. Eject cassette and switch off power when finished.

Playback

Switch power on. Slide EJECT. Insert recorded cassette. Press STOP button. Press PLAY button. Playback begins. Press STOP to stop. Connect earphone for sound.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Can't focus. The subject is difficult to focus. Adjust the focus manually. 21, 22
Distance to subject is less than 1.2 m. Move away, or use macro feature. 17
No picture on the TV Wrong connection. Correct the connection. 26
Playback picture flickers or blurs. Video heads are dirty. Clean them. (If this does not help, heads may need to be replaced.) -
