  • Getting Started: Insert battery and card (Page 4).
  • Shooting: Open monitor, press ON/OFF button for 1 second. For video, press [] button to record and again to stop. For stills, press [] button to capture. (Page 5).
  • Playback: Press REC/PLAY button. Use SET button to select clip/image. Press SET again to play. (Page 6).
  • Camera Off: Press ON/OFF button. (Page 6).

Troubleshooting and error codes

If images are blurred even when the autofocus is used Reasons for unfocused images:
① The [ ] button was pressed all the way in one step.
② After the image was focused, the subject moved.
③ The focus setting is not set for the correct distance.
Preventing blurred images:
① Confirm correct focus mode.
② Hold camera correctly, press [ ] button halfway.
③ Wait for target mark, continue pressing [ ] button.
Photographing a moving subject Reasons for unfocused images: Autofocus determines distance, subject movement can cause blur.
Preventing blurred images: Use manual focus, preset focus distance, press [ ] button when subject reaches distance.
Shooting portraits (portrait mode) Points: Choose background, move close, pay attention to lighting.
NOTE: Avoid distracting backgrounds, ensure subject stands out, use flash for backlit subjects.
Photographing moving subjects (sports mode) Points: Match camera movement, set zoom to Wide, press [ ] button quickly.
NOTE: Hold camera steady, keep subject in lens, use Wide end zoom, press [ ] button smoothly.
Night photography (night view portrait mode) Points: Avoid camera shake, increase ISO sensitivity.
NOTE: Slower shutter speed can cause blur; stabilize camera. Use flash carefully for backlit subjects. Keep camera and subjects still after flash.
Photographing scenery (landscape mode) Points: Shoot high resolution, use optical zoom, pay attention to composition.
NOTE: Higher resolution is better for enlargement. Optical zoom is better for distant scenery. Hold camera securely. Pay attention to perspective and object placement.
