Turning On the Projector

  1. Complete peripheral connections before turning on the projector.
  2. Connect the AC power cord, open the front cover, and turn the Main On/Off switch on. The POWER indicator will flash red and then turn red.
  3. Press the POWER ON-OFF button. The POWER indicator turns green, cooling fans start, and a preparation display appears.
  4. After countdown, input source and Lamp mode status icon appear.

Turning Off the Projector

  1. Press the POWER ON-OFF button. "Power off?" message appears.
  2. Press the POWER ON-OFF button again to turn off the projector. The POWER indicator flashes red during cooling (approx. 60 seconds).
  3. Once the POWER indicator lights red, you can turn the Main On/Off switch off and disconnect the AC power cord.

Note: Wait at least 5 minutes before turning off after turning on to maintain lamp life. Do not disconnect AC power while cooling fans are running.

Troubleshooting and error codes

No power - Plug the power cord into the AC outlet.
- Check if the front cover is open and the POWER indicator lights red.
- See if the Main On/Off switch is on.
- Wait 90 seconds after turning OFF before turning ON again.
- Check the WARNING indicator.
- Check the projection lamp.
- Check if the projector is installed on a flat surface.
Image is out of focus. - Adjust focus of the projector.
- Provide proper distance between the projector and screen.
- Check the projection lens for cleaning.
- Allow projector to warm up if moved from a cool to warm environment.
No image - Check connections.
- Ensure correct signal output from source.
- Change computer monitor output settings if using a laptop.
- Wait approx. 20 seconds after turning on.
- Select correct input source via menu.
- Ensure operating temperature is within range.
Image is Left/Right reversed. - Check the Mounting / Rear item in "Setting".
Image is Top/Bottom reversed. - Check the Mounting item in "Setting".
Some displays are not seen during the Operation. - Check the Display item in "Setting".
The Remote Control does not work. - Check batteries.
- Ensure no obstruction between remote and projector.
- Stay within operating range (16.4' / 5m).
- Ensure remote control code matches projector.
