Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause Solution
No cooling #SH error message (EVAP. Coil temp or cabinet temp under -35 C) OP: Sensor connection opened. SH: Sensor connection shorted.
Gas leak, Evap. Coil not cooled, Poor compressor compression, or Clogged capillary tube Check and repair as necessary.
Compressor not working Check Compressor, Running Capacitor, or Starting Capacitor. If faulty, repair or replace.
Condenser fan motor not working Check Condenser fan motor. If faulty, repair or replace.
Poor cooling Air flow blocked by contents Rearrange contents to allow proper air circulation.
Door opened repeatedly Prevent frequent door openings.
Leakage around door gasket Repair or replace the door gasket.
Excessive frost on Evap. Coil Remove frost manually and adjust automatic defrosting period.
Condenser coil & air filter clogged Clean condenser coil and air filter.
High ambient temperature (over 35 C) Ensure proper ventilation for the condensing unit.
Frost remaining on evaporator coil The defrost function is maintained by values "t", "d", and "p" on the PCB.
Frost on Evap. Coil Manual defrost operation (Push SELECTION for 10 sec).
Manual defrost operation displayed (flashing "d00") If "d00" is flashing, check if defrosting is activated.
Defrosting activated If not activated, check Evap. Coil sensor, defrost heater, and controller.
Any failure on Evap. Coil sensor Check and replace if faulty.
Any failure on defrost heater Check and replace if faulty.
Controller has no power to defrost heater terminal block Replace the controller.
