Getting Started

  • Turning Power On/Off: Press the power switch to turn the camera on or off.
  • Choosing Screen Language: Rotate the mode dial to , turn on the camera, navigate to Setup, select Language, and choose your desired language.
  • Setting Date and Time: Rotate the mode dial to , turn on the camera, navigate to Setup, select Date & Time, and adjust the date, month, year, and time using the four-way controller.

Photography Mode

  • Shooting Images: Select the desired mode on the mode dial and press the shutter release button.
  • Using Zoom: Use the zoom lever (or buttons) to zoom in or out.
  • Using Flash: Select the flash mode (Auto, On, Off, Red Eye) via the flash button or menu.
  • Setting Focus: Use the focus mode (Standard, Macro, Infinity) as needed.

Playback Mode

  • Viewing Images: Press the playback button () to view recorded images. Use the four-way controller to navigate.
  • Magnifying Images: Use the zoom controls while in playback mode to magnify images.
  • Deleting Images: Select images in playback mode and press the delete button.

Transferring Images to Computer

  • Connect the camera to your computer using the USB cable. Follow on-screen prompts or use the provided software to download images.

Troubleshooting and error codes

* The [Capture Mode] is set to [Burst] or [AEB].
* The camera is in the (video) mode. 		* Select a different flash mode.
* Select [Single] in the [Capture Mode].
* Switch the mode dial to another mode.
Continuous shooting is not possible. * The capacity of the built-in memory or SD/SDHC memory card is full. * Insert SD/SDHC memory card with available space or delete unwanted images.
Cannot transfer files over a USB connection. * USB cable is not connected securely.
* USB driver is not installed.
