Turning the Power On and Off
- Turn on by pressing the Power button. Startup image and sound may play. Zoom lens extends. Camera is in Record mode.
- Alternatively, turn on in Playback mode. Zoom lens does not extend.
- Turn off by pressing the Power button.
Initial Settings
- First-time startup prompts for language selection. Choose your preferred language for menus and messages.
- Next, set the Date & Time. Use navigation buttons to select and adjust values, then press OK to confirm.
- After settings, the camera is ready for use.
Modes
- Photo Mode: Slide switch to ☐ to capture images. Voice REC is available from scene mode.
- Movie Mode: Slide switch to ☐ to record videos.
- Playback Mode: Slide switch to ☐ to view and edit images, videos, and audio clips. Voice memos can be attached to images.
