Getting Started

Checking Package Contents: Verify all items are present.

Setting Up the Phone:

  • Choose a suitable location near a phone jack and power outlet, away from electrical noise.
  • Install the rechargeable battery pack into the handset.
  • Connect the base unit to power and charge the handset for 15-20 hours.
  • Connect the telephone line cord to the base and a wall outlet.

Using the Interface

Display and Icons: Understand various icons like battery status, ringer status, mute, speaker, and privacy mode.

Animation Displays: Familiarize yourself with animations for turning on, hanging up, making calls, etc.

Multi-Handset Features

Walkie-Talkie Mode: Use two handsets as two-way radios without a base unit or phone line.

3-Way Conferencing: Conduct calls between two handsets and an outside line.

Intercom/Call Transfer: Use handsets as an intercom or transfer calls between them.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Symptom Suggestion
The CHARGE LED won't illuminate when the handset is placed in the cradle.
  • Make sure the AC adapter is plugged into the base or the charger and wall outlet.
  • Make sure the handset is properly seated in the cradle.
  • Make sure the charging contacts on the handset are clean.
The audio sounds weak.
  • Move the handset and/or base away from metal objects or appliances and try again.
  • Make sure that you are not too far from the base.
Can't make or receive calls.
  • Check both ends of the base telephone line cord.
  • Make sure the AC adapter is plugged into the base and wall outlet.
  • Disconnect the AC adapter for a few minutes, and then reconnect it.
  • De-register the handset.
  • Change the digital security code.
  • Make sure that you are not too far from the base.
  • Make sure the line is not in use.
  • If an outside call is already established, you cannot make another outside call.
The handset doesn't ring or receive a page.
  • Charge the batteries in the handset for 15-20 hours by placing the handset on the base or charging cradle.
  • Make sure that you are not too far from the base.
  • De-register the handset.
  • Change the digital security code.
  • Make sure another handset(s) is not in use, and try the phone again.
  • Make sure that you are not too far from the base.
Unavailable appears in the display.
  • Make sure that you are not too far from the base.
Severe noise interference.
  • Keep the handset away from microwave ovens, computers, remote control toys, wireless microphones, alarm systems, intercoms, room monitors, fluorescent lights, and electrical appliances.
  • Move to another location or turn off the source of interference.
The Caller ID does not display.
  • The handset was picked up before the second ring.
  • The call was placed through a switchboard.
  • Call your local telephone company to verify your Caller ID service is current.
You cannot register the handset to the base.
  • Charge the battery pack for 15-20 hours.
  • De-register the handset.
  • Change the digital security code.
The handset doesn't communicate with other handsets.
  • De-register the handset.
  • Change the digital security code.
  • Make sure that you have registered all handsets.
The handset can't join the conversation.
  • Make sure there are not 2 handsets already using the 3-way conference feature.
