Getting to know your phone
- Highlights: Lightweight, easy-to-use, reliable phone with a five-line alphanumeric display, icon and text prompts, and EL backlight.
- Menu Navigation: Use the Navigation key to scroll through menus and the OK key to select options.
- Alpha Entry: Press number keys repeatedly to cycle through letters and symbols.
- Front View: Familiarize yourself with key buttons like POWER, SEND, END, OK, CLR, VOL, and the Navigation Key.
- Display Icons: Understand icons for Signal strength, No Service, In Use, Roaming, Messages, Vibrate, Digital mode, and Battery level.
Using the battery
- Installation: Snap the Lithium Ion battery onto the back of the phone.
- Charging: Use the AC adapter, dual-slot desktop charger, or cigarette lighter adapter. Monitor battery level via the display icon.
Basic Operations
- Turning On/Off: Press POWER to turn on; press and hold POWER for two seconds to turn off.
- Standby Mode: The phone's default state when on and not in use.
- Power Save Mode: Activates automatically if no signal is found for 15 minutes.
- Making a Call: Enter the number and press SEND or OK.
- Answering Calls: Press SEND or OK when the phone rings.
