To turn on the unit, turn the power switch to "on". The present temperature will be displayed. Press the "SET" key to enter temperature setting mode, where the second digit of the temperature indicator will flash. Use the "digit shift" and "numerical value shift" keys to adjust the temperature. Press "SET" again to memorize the setting. The unit will then cool down to the desired temperature. For key lock function, press and hold the "digit shift" and "numerical value shift" keys for 5 seconds to display "LO". Pressing the "shift key" will display "L1" and activate the lock. Pressing "SET" completes the lock.
