Precautions for Safe Operation
User must comply with manual for safety. WARNING signs indicate hazards for serious injury or death. CAUTION signs indicate risk of injury or property damage. Symbols indicate caution, prohibition, and instruction. Keep manual accessible. Do not use outdoors. Only qualified personnel should install. Install on sturdy floor. Avoid humid, flammable, or corrosive locations. Always ground the unit. Use correct power source. Do not store volatile/flammable substances. Do not insert metal objects. Use in safe area for hazardous articles. Turn off power before maintenance. Do not touch electrical parts with wet hands. Ensure no inhalation of medication/aerosols during maintenance. Do not splash water. Do not place liquids on unit. Do not damage power cord. Do not disassemble or repair yourself. Disconnect power if unit is wrong. Grip plug, not cord, when disconnecting. Disconnect power before moving. Disconnect power for long periods. Ensure children cannot access unused units with closed doors. Dispose of unit by appropriate personnel. Remove doors for disposal. Keep plastic bags away from children.
Environmental Conditions
Indoor use, altitude up to 2000m. Ambient temperature 5°C to 40°C. Max relative humidity 80% (decreasing to 50% at 40°C). Mains supply voltage fluctuations not to exceed ±10%. Other supply voltage fluctuations as per manufacturer. Transient overvoltages Category II. Pollution degree 2 (IEC 60664).
Refrigerator Components
Front cover, control panel, light switch, space for temperature recorder, fluorescent lamp, lock, glass window, handle, dew receiver, leveling foot, caster, drawer/shelf, access port, exhaust air vent, intake air vent, door switch, fixtures, evaporating tray. Control panel includes door check indicator, alarm lamp, digital temperature indicator, numerical value shift key, digit shift key, set key, and buzzer stop key.
Installation Site
Install in a location not subjected to direct sunlight, with adequate ventilation (at least 10 cm clearance), away from heat-generating sources, with little temperature change, on a sturdy and level floor, not prone to high humidity (80% R.H. or less), without flammable or corrosive gas, and without the possibility of anything falling on it.
Installation
Remove packaging materials. Adjust leveling feet. Fix the unit to the wall. Ground the unit.
Start-up of Unit
Connect power cord. Alarm buzzer may operate on start-up; press BUZZER to silence. Set chamber temperature to 5°C and allow it to cool. Turn on fluorescent light to check, then turn off if not needed. Set desired temperature. Place items slowly to minimize temperature rise. Ensure intake and exhaust vents are not blocked. Wipe condensation from outer door and dew receiver regularly.
Stock of Containers
Distribute items to not disturb air circulation. Never put articles on top of the unit. Do not block intake or exhaust air vents. Store items within the "load line". Never store corrosive substances.
