This manual provides instructions for installing and caring for your Sanyo compact refrigerator, models SR-1730 and SR-2570.

Installation: Ensure proper airflow by leaving space around the unit, place on a level floor, and adjust feet if necessary. Avoid direct sunlight, heat sources, and moist areas. Always plug into a grounded outlet.

Temperature Control: Use the knob to regulate temperature; clockwise makes it colder, anti-clockwise makes it warmer. Lower temperature when storing more food, making ice, or opening the door frequently. The refrigerator cycles on and off automatically.

Cleaning: Use warm water and baking soda for the interior. Mild detergent and a soft cloth for shelves and trays. Warm water and soap for the exterior. Avoid harsh chemicals and boiling water.

Defrosting: Defrost when ice reaches 1/4 inch thickness. Remove food, trays, leave the door open, set control to OFF, wait for ice to melt, then reset control.
