Sanyo Fisher Company warrants this product against defects for 1 year labor and parts, and 5 years on the compressor.
Temperature Control: Adjust the cold control knob. Turning clockwise towards 'MAX' lowers the temperature. Temperature varies with food quantity and door openings. Use 'MAX' for quick ice cube needs. Frequent cycling is normal due to compactness.
Defrosting: Defrost when ice layer reaches 1/4 inch thick. Remove food and ice trays, place drip tray. Set cold control to 'OFF' to start. Defrosting takes hours; speed up by removing food, opening door, or using warm water on frost. Never use sharp instruments or boiling water. After defrosting, empty drip tray, set cold control to desired position between 'MIN' and 'MAX'. To suspend, return to operating position.
