Warranty Information

Basic Setup

  1. Connect cable system or antenna to the terminal on the back.
  2. Press the MENU key.
  3. Wait for the TV to search for channels.

Remote Control

Install 2 AA batteries, matching polarity. Point the remote towards the TV. Use number keys to select channels (press two keys for one channel). Use other keys for menu navigation, volume, mute, sleep timer, and V-Guide.

Front Panel

Keys on the front panel function like remote control keys. The GAME MODE key automatically selects front AV jacks.

Connecting External Equipment

Connect AV cables to the front panel jacks or rear jacks. Use GAME MODE key to select the source.

TV Adjustment and Setup

Use the MENU key and navigation keys to adjust picture, antenna settings, and language.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause Solution
TV Turns off by itself Loose antenna connection Check antenna connection.
Signal loss Press POWER key.
Sleep Timer set TV may have been set to sleep timer.
Power issue Unplug TV for a few seconds, reconnect, and press POWER.
No Picture or Poor Picture Signal issue Change channels. Problem with station, cable, or satellite reception.
Appliance interference Turn off household appliances.
Poor color or no color Signal issue Change channels. Problem with program or signal.
Antenna adjustment Adjust antenna direction/alignment. Press RESET key twice for factory defaults.
Blue screen Video mode selected without signal Press GAME/VIDEO MODE key. Check AV equipment connection/power.
Cannot select channels Channel memory or V-Guide settings Press RESET key twice.
Unrecognizable menu words Wrong language selected Press RESET key twice.
No sound Mute activated or Volume down Press and hold Volume key or change channels.
