Install 2 AAA batteries. Use keys to turn on/off, navigate menus, change channels, adjust volume, mute, access V-Guide, and set sleep timer.
Access 'Picture' from the menu. Choose 'Auto' for automatic adjustment or 'Manual' to adjust Color, Tint, Contrast, Brightness, and Sharpness using the remote control.
Use the 'MENU' and navigation keys to add or delete channels.

| TV turns off by itself | Check antenna connection. Problem could be auto shutdown due to loss of signal. Press POWER. If TV did not come on, sleep timer may have been set. Unplug and reconnect TV. |
| No Picture or Poor Picture | Change Channels. If picture is ok, signal issue. If not, turn off appliances causing interference. Adjust antenna direction/alignment. Press RESET twice to restore factory defaults. |
| Poor color or no color | Change Channels. If color is better, signal issue. If not, adjust antenna direction/alignment. Press RESET twice for factory defaults. |
| Don't recognize words in on-screen menu | Press RESET twice. A language other than English may have been selected. |
| No sound | Press and hold Volume button. If sound is heard, Mute was active or volume was low. Change channels. If still no sound, check program/signal or adjust antenna. |
| No Captioning | If program is captioned, turn captioning on using CAPTION key and select Caption1. If not, tune to a captioned program. |
| Black box appears on screen | If box disappears or reappears, TV station is sending caption text without data. Press RESET twice or turn off captioning. |
| Remote control not working | Point remote at TV. Check for obstructions. Replace batteries or confirm correct installation. |
| Cannot select or scan channels | Press RESET twice. May be channel scan memory or V-Guide settings. |
| Cabinet makes a popping sound | Normal condition during warm-up and cool-down of plastic parts. |
