- Standby Mode: Displays ambient temperature (5-35°C). 'L' for below 5°C, 'H' for above 35°C.
- On/Off: Press to enter cooling mode (default 24°C/75°F). Press again to return to standby.
- Mode: Select Cooling, Fan, Heating, or Dehumidifier mode.
- Fan Speed: Choose between High, Medium, or Low speed.
- Timer: Set a timer for the unit to switch on or off. Adjust hours/minutes using up/down buttons.
- Temperature/Timer Adjustment: Use Up/Down buttons to adjust time or temperature. Press both simultaneously to switch between °C and °F.
- Swing: Activate or deactivate oscillating louvres.
- Remote Control: Functions mirror the main control panel. Uses 2 x AAA batteries.
- Self Protection: Features include Freezing Protection (display shows 'E4'), Full Water Tank detection (display shows 'FL'), Compressor Delay (3 mins), and Low Refrigerant warning (display shows 'E3').
- Water Drainage: Unit normally evaporates condensate. If tank is full, drain manually by removing drain cap and plug.
Troubleshooting and error codes
| Error Code | Possible Cause | Remedy |
| E4 | Freezing Protection | Unit stops working in cooling mode. When temperature rises, setting resumes. |
| FL | Full Water Tank | Drain the water tank as described in section 5.4. |
| E3 | Low Refrigerant | Unit shuts down compressor and water pump, fan speed drops. |
