Guarantee is 12 months from purchase date, proof of which is required for any claim.

1. SAFETY FIRST

  • Electrical Safety: Ensure all electrical equipment is safe, check leads and plugs. Use an RCD. Ensure voltage matches supply and plug has correct fuse. DO NOT pull by cable, pull plug by plug, use worn cables. Switch off and remove from use if cable/plug is damaged. Ensure repairs by qualified electrician. Connect earth, live, and neutral wires correctly. Ensure cable sheath is inside restraint. Use fully unwound extension reels (1.5mm² minimum, 2.5mm² recommended).
  • General Safety: Disconnect power before maintenance. Maintain unit in good condition. Replace damaged parts with genuine parts. Operate in a suitable, clean, tidy, and well-lit area. Keep unit clean. Remove tools before operation. Wear safety eye protection, ear defenders, gauntlets, and respiratory protection if dust is generated. Remove loose clothing/jewellery. Maintain balance and footing. Keep children away. Use only for intended purpose; DO NOT pick up metal, glass, or water. DO NOT let untrained persons operate. DO NOT get wet. DO NOT use near flammable materials. DO NOT operate if parts are missing/damaged. DO NOT operate when tired or under the influence. Switch off and isolate when not in use.

6. OPERATION

  • Read and understand safety instructions.
  • Confirm supply voltage and ensure switch is 'Off'.
  • Connect hose to inlet and equipment. Close unused inlet.
  • WARNING! DO NOT operate without hoses attached.
  • Empty lower bag regularly.
  • Fitting a reducer will reduce dust volume.
  • WARNING! Not suitable for piped systems.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Motor fails to start Power supply interrupted. Check mains plug, fuse, and power supply.
Insufficient suction 1. Filter bag(s) full.
2. Hose kinked or blocked.
3. Air leaks.
1. Empty filter bag(s).
2. Straighten or clear hose.
3. Check all connections and seals for leaks and tighten or repair as necessary.
Excessive noise 1. Motor issues.
2. Loose parts.
1. Contact Sealey service agent.
2. Check and tighten all fittings and components.
