Warranty Information

Sears will repair or replace defects in material or workmanship for one year from purchase.

Assembly:

  1. Attach float to the lid with the "This Side Towards Lid" facing down.
  2. Align filter cage tabs with slots in the lid and push to secure.
  3. Place filter onto filter cage, then place filter plate over the cage.
  4. Screw on filter nut finger tight.
  5. Invert dust drum, insert caster feet and stems, then attach casters until they snap.
  6. Line up the top vac portion with the drum, ensuring latches snap.
  7. Insert the flexible hose end into the vacuum inlet.
  8. Attach utility nozzle to the swivel end of the hose.

Operation:

To vacuum dry materials, ensure the filter is in place. For fine dust, empty the drum and clean the filter more frequently. If the filter is wet, dry it by running the vac without the hose for 10 minutes. To vacuum liquids, the float mechanism will cut off airflow when the drum is full. Turn off and empty the drum. Remove the filter when vacuuming large amounts of liquid to prevent misting. Do not run the motor with the float in the raised position.

Maintenance:

Empty the dust drum by releasing the flexible locking tabs and lifting the top assembly. Drain liquids by unscrewing the drain cap or by removing the top assembly. Clean the filter by tapping it or washing it with water. Dry the filter thoroughly. Clean the exterior with a damp cloth and mild soap.
