Preparation for Use:

  • Connecting the AC power lead: Check and adjust the AC voltage selector on the rear panel to match your local voltage (110V, 127V, 220V, or 230-240V AC). Plug the power lead into an AC socket.
  • AM/FM interval (span): Set the SPAN SELECTOR switch on the rear panel to "50/9" for 9 kHz AM interval or "100/10" for 10 kHz AM interval.

Setting the Clock:

  • Press ON/STAND-BY, then CLOCK.
  • Within 5 seconds, press MEMORY/SET.
  • Use TUNING/TIME buttons to select the time display mode (24-hour or 12-hour).
  • Use TUNING/TIME buttons to adjust the hours and minutes.
  • Press MEMORY/SET to confirm.

Remote Control Use:

  • Replace batteries if operating distance is reduced or operation is erratic.
  • Periodically clean the transmitter LED and the sensor on the main unit.
  • Keep the remote control away from moisture, excessive heat, shock, and vibrations.

Resetting the Microcomputer:

  • This erases all stored memory contents (clock, timer, tuner, and CD presets).
  • Press ON/STAND-BY, then simultaneously press and hold the X-BASS/DEMO and ON/STAND-BY buttons for at least 1 second. "CLEAR AL" will appear.
