Basic Operation:
- Power Source: Unit can be powered by AC adaptor or alkaline batteries (LR6, "AA" size). Rechargeable battery (AD-T20BT) or car adaptor (AD-CA20X) are also available.
- Recording: Supports analog recording via line or microphone input, and digital recording using an optical digital cable.
- Playback: Insert a recordable MiniDisc and press the Play button. Volume and bass can be adjusted.
- Controls: Various buttons for playback, recording, editing, mode selection, and display. The HOLD switch prevents accidental operation.
- Battery Check: The battery indicator shows the remaining battery level.
